SD Sales order copy header wbs element to item wbs element

Hello,

The entered wbs element at header level doesn't come to the item account assignment and therefore we get the error message "Error occurred in derivation rule". After entering wbs at item level it disappears.However how can I provide the header wbs element in sales order copied automatically to the item wbs element?

Hi,

The WBS account assignment at header level is only applicable at header level.

You might have noticed the system throws you a message that "Project account assignment of existing items is not adjusted"... being that it is not picked up at item level. There is no way of having the assignment at header get copied to item level (as in Milestone, there could be multiple WBS elements for same line item).

I recommend that you use WBS element at the item level only to be certain.
