Interactive Forms Questions

Dear all.

Because this is a new tool, at this point I have a fee questions:

1 - Is there any Standard Interactive Forms, for printing for example SD – Invoices? How do I configure this?

2 -What is better to print Documents SMARTFORMS or Interactive Forms?

3 - What areas (SD,MM,FI) and output Documents do we have for this tool.

Hi Pedro,

in mySAP ERP 2005 (currently in ramp-up), SAP is shipping about 800 standard forms based on the new technology. Most of these also have the existing Smart Forms or SAPscript template in the system.

In mySAP ERP 2004, there were about 45 print forms shipped as samples. See SAP Note 735050 for more information.

Both SAPscript and Smart Forms will continue to be supported as tools, but as of ERP 2007 SAP plans to ship only PDF-based templates. My understanding is that you are on mySAP ERP 2004 (including NW04, not 2004s). In this release using one or the other technology depends on your requirements. For high-volume printing, in ERP 2004 Smart Forms would still be the more established alternative, although there are scenarios where you can use Interactive Forms already.

But some standard printing programs have been wrote.

SD_BIL_PRINT01 for SD invoices.

SD_SLS_PRINT01 for SD Orders.

J_3RF_INV_A for FI invoices.

That all I know at the moment.
