Error 000104 : Connection reset by peer in Module rslgsend(027)

I am getting this error entry in SM21 on daily basis. Cant find any

thing on SMP and SDN, can anyone experienced similar kind of error ?

Symptom

The error message in the title of this note appears in the system log. As a result, the RSLGSEND program does not send any further data for the central system log to the collector.

Reason and Prerequisites

There is a protocol error. The collector terminates the receipt of the data.

This normally occurs on Linux when the default ports 12xx, 13xx, 14xx, and 15xx are used. Other programs also use these ports.

Solution

Make sure that you are using ports that are actually free.

If the error continues to occur, you can use TCPDUMP to determine which port sends data to which other port. The system displays the receiver and sender as well as a small number of characters from the content of the data.

The call is as follows:

tcpdump -w tcpdump -x -n -i any port <n1> or port <n2> or port <n3> or port <n4> &

The evaluation for TCPDUMP can take place using WIRESHAR or ETHEREAL

Hi,

i'm getting the same error hourly. I've found the SAP Note 1098447, which seems to adress this problem.

But i haven't detected the cause.
