How to give word doc/excel access to users

hi,

Guys,

we are going to give doc/excel access to all users. we tried for one user in SU01 (favourites), it is available for that user only. The document link favourite is not coming to all users. i want to give doc/excel access to all users, so please help on this issue.

Hi Ramesh,

why not entering the link into a roles menu. Then assign this role to all users. As soon they use the user-menu, they will get the link displayed there.

Related tables for favorites are smenfavdat, smen_buffc, smen_buffi.

I recommend, not to update those tables manually....
