Reset User id & password for accesing SAP XI integration builder

Hi all,

Can you please let me know how I can reset the password for SAP XI integration builder as it is showing Account blocked.

Hi,

Goto SU01 in XI and give ur User and say Unlock if it is Locked.

And then to Reset the Pwd goto change mode and in Logon TAb enter the New Password

I tried reset password but still it is giving error.

i am trying to connect to SAP XI Integration builder as follows

Transaction - sxmb_ifr ---> Exchange infrastructure opens in a web page ---> Clicked on Integration builder ---> entered the user id and password ---> giving error "Authorization error; unknown user name or incorrect password" -

as I want to know that the user id which we are using while login to SAP is the same one we use here or this user id is different one.

Hi,

The User Id Which we use while Logon into the XI's ABAP Stack through Logon pad and the User which we have to use while logging into the IR & ID also Same.

First of all the User which u are using is having Sufficient Authorizations or not check it.

hi

check the whether the user id has the following roles assigned

SAP_XI_DEVELOPER

SAP_XI_CONFIGURATOR

try the password with caps on

try checking with the networking team if there are any firewall issues

try checking with the exchange profile parametrs finally

Hi,

In the SU01 T-code, after you enter into the display mode,

You can check the Roles & Profile Tab's for the same

As I said earlier, use SU01. There display for ur user and u can check the profiles and roles assigned to that user. U may add the roles (if not present) by checking it with the list provided.

User and Role maintainence authorisation control can be achived by using authorisation object S_USER_GRP

S_USER_AGR (Authorisation role check)

S_USER_PRO(Authorisation profile)

S_USER_AUT(access to authorisations)

S_USER_GRP(access users)

If xi server has any firewall issue open the ports 8000,50000,50004,50018

and check with the note 864268

finally enable the integration builder role in the exchange profile

check the parameter

com.sap.aii.util.server.auth.activation to true

Use SU01. It is for user maintenace to create a new user, reset password, assign roles and authorization etc.
