BDC of DP90 not running when calling from WebDynpro

Hi,

I have created one function module for BDC of DP90.

It is running fine while executing from SAPGUI itself.

but it's giving following error when calling it from WebDynpro.

Internal error occurred when method CREATE OBJECT was being accessed from class CL_GUI_CUSTOM_CONTAINER

How to resolve this error?

It is giving error at the time of creating PF-Status of ALV. Pl. suggest if there is any SAP Note available for the same.

Hi,

From your explanation, I understand that an ALV is used in the transaction on which you create a BDC.

An ALV cannot be processed in a BDC that runs in background mode.

It will fail.

As a BDC called from the WebDynpro will always run in background mode, your BDC function won't be able to process correctly.

The advise way of working is to use a BAPI rather than a BDC.

Try FM DIPCOL_COLLECTIVE_RRB.

this is meant for DP96.

I want to have functionality of DP90/DP91 wherein I can set Billable Percentage/Postpone Percentage etc.
