Value mapping

as per this blog,

do i need to main a Value mapping table in ID.

1.cant we dirctly do it in graphical mapping....

2.In the above Valu mapping part,it asks for agency and the source...when i click for help,it shows as no objects found..do we need to hardcode the values there in the source and target.

I had been given a value mapping table with feilds as..

Source Target

B 40F

C 40F

it is giving an error as it says 40F is already existing ....and it deleting B value....how can we solve it.....

Hi,

I have been given value mapping table .

Source Target

B 40F

C 40F

when i fill the table in ID,it gives out error saying as you used it for Value B ......do u want to delete for B and reassign for C.Its not allowing me to go ahead with 40F for the both the values...

Hi Harsha,

You can use fixValues in message mapping instead of ValueMapping. You can give there duplicate values as well. Try that and let me know in case if it don't solve your purpose.
