MDM Server 5.5 SP06 installation on HP-UX

Hi SDN,

I'm trying to install an MDM server in an HP-UX 11.31 with installation CD

SRM-MDM CATALOG 2.0 SP01

Installation & Upgrade

Number 51032915

The issue is that in Installation Guide tell me that I've to install it with an installation executable that I didn't found anywhere (???)

in the CD I just have two files to HP-UX

mdm-server-5.5.41.70-hpux-PARISC64-aCC.tar.Z and

mdm-import-server-5.5.41.70-hpux-PARISC64-aCC.tar.Z

but none of it has any installation executables, just MDM executables and librarys!!!!!!!

Someone could help me with this? How can I install it?

DB is Oracle 10g

Hi Pedro,

I would start by trying to get a newer version of the software! 5.5.41.xx is very old and is no longer actively supported. You should be trying to install 5.5.62.xx or 5.5.63.xx (contact the SRM folks for the proper version to use).
