error while reversing goods issue using VL09

Hi All ,

user is getting the error " 4902546971document does not contain any selectable items " when reverse the GI using VL09.

The user enterd delivery number only 80721176 in the transaction VL09 . Thre GI materail doc no.is 4902546971 .

The error message is doc 4902546971 does not contain any selectable items.

Hello,

I believe the material document 4902546971 has got cancelled / reveresd in MBST. You need to find out the material movements after the material document 4902546971.

If the material document is cancelled in MBST, it may not display in the document flow.

If the material is serialised, it will be easy for you to findout the current status of the material.

Hi ,

I am sure it is not cancelled already in MBST , the GI mat.doc cancellation possible only in VL09.

I have found one more thing , actully the GI happened for 901 movement . I could not found any reversal movement type for 901 .. like 902. Is the error occurs due to non exist of reversal mov.type?

You are not able to cancel the goods movement, may be because for the movement type 901 has no reversal/follow-on movement type is defined , check entry in customizing table T156N. and change the table according to the requirement.

In VL09 transaction are you using the number 4902546971 to reverse the Goods Issue??? If so, try to use the delivery number ( 80721176 ) instead.
