Hi,
Is there by any means I can take a compleate backup of my WDA component in my local machine...
If so can u please suggest me the steps for it....
or any kind of back up is also fine...
Thanks in Advance,
Arjun.G
You can always export a normal ABAP transport. It can be manually reimported later. The process is then no different than any other time you use a transport.
For an alternative, you can use SAPLink to export your WD component via XML. http://code.google.com/p/saplink/

For Web Dynpro plugin required is: "NUGG_ABAP_WEB_DYNPRO-0.1.0.nugg"
Get this plugin at:
http://code.google.com/p/saplink-plugins/downloads/list?can=2&q=wdyn&colspec=FilenameSummaryUploadedSizeDownloadCount
install this plugin the way you installed SAPLINK using installer program and then you will see web dynpro related objects types during export.
Hi Thomas,
Thanks for the link to SAPLINK.
I have installed the SAPlink using the intaller template and NUGG_SAPlink..
Now how to proceed furthur from it..

Have you read the SAPlink documenation and FAQ. There is also a video demonstration. It is all pretty straight forward. You will need to install the additional Web Dynpro plug-ins (available on the SAPlink code page) as well. Then you just need to run the ABAP program ZSAPLINK and export a Slinkee.
