SRM MDM search error

Hello,

We have configured SRM MDM in our system.

When I try to call the MDM system from SRM(catalog) it is giving me an error like this

Internal Server Error 500!

Failed to process request. Please contact your system administrator.

The initial exception that caused the request to fail, was:

java.lang.NullPointerException

at com.sap.mdm.ws.queryengine.Model.getUserSearchFields(Model.java:8243)

at com.sap.mdm.ws.queryengine.Model.getSearchCriteria(Model.java:7996)

com.sap.mdm.srmcat.uisearch.SearchCriteriaView.wdDoModifyView(SearchCriteriaView.java:294)*

at com.sap.mdm.srmcat.uisearch.wdp.InternalSearchCriteriaView.wdDoModifyView(InternalSearchCriteriaView.java:463)

at com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.generation.DelegatingView.doModifyView(DelegatingView.java:78)

java.lang.NullPointerException

Has anyone come across this type of error.

We have a SRM 5.0 system.

Please let me know if you need any more information.
