Issue with J2ee engine

Hi,

I am facing one problem in the XI development instance. When I am restarting the java instance through smicm, it is not getting started. Normally we used to start adapters by starting visual admin tool( J2ee Admin) by writing scripts. But now Visual admin tool is not opening. We cannot see any logs. Please suggest me some solutions to how to start the j2ee engine
