where this concept of utilization will appear and how to settle it.

Utilization is balance of debit and credit towards payment of Excise Dity to the Government.

To Illustrate with example:

Excise Duty collect from Sales: Rs 100/-

Excise Duty Paid towards Purchases: Rs. 70/-

As Per Utilization, Excise Duty Payable is : Rs. 30/-
