Hi friends,
When i am activating the Message mapping i am getting the error as no space.
com.sap.aii.ib.core.mapping.exec.ExecuteException: No space left on device
Please what to do now..

Check
1) Name of the MM should not have any space in beteween.
2) Use the Test tab and check ur MM

Hi,
Can u copy n paste ur MM name which u r giving while creating.
See if ur saying it is giving error while activating then Ur MM name is correct as when u type the MM name and click next then it will throw error saying MM shud not have any special characters.
Now second part is u try to put any dummy values in Test tab and test the message mapping.

The name is correct and i have tested that and then i am getting the error
12:49:26 Start of test
No space left on device
12:49:26 End of test
and one more thing i have tryed to cpoy one sample mm and try to activate it . then the sam error is throwing..
so i hope space is full... now what all the steps i need to do and check the space and remove them.
and one more thing till now i have done any archiving and deletion so please tell all kind of steps to be done in server side to make this work and also any important steps which need to be in future also please..

Before doing this activity need to do any backup.. or i can goahead..
even if deleting in the moni will create space for me ..
i am still in development stage if this eror come it will defenetly comes in production...
in that case i can't delete all the messages in production so what is the best solutin for this...
how can u best manage the space avalable and so that i can allocate then accordingly...

Hi,
First of all we should have high configuration according to your Server.
then by we have to schedule the Archive and Deletion jobs on Xi Server according to the mentioned link.
By this we will mention the retension periods for this and accordingly the messages will be Archived and deleted, so that the space will be available.

Hi,
This is IR Space error, I hope there is nothing wrong in your Mapping Program.
Please check your Disk is running low in memory. If so plz try to create some space by eliminating unwanted data in the disk.
For furthur help Contact your Basis person.

looks like there is no disk space for the mapping object on the XI server. plz check with your basis team for this.

I guess your server disk is full.
Try the same activation for other message mappings too ...if they give the same error?
