Hi,

We are using SCM 2007 and LiveCache version is "KERNEL 7.7.03 BUILD 022-123-172-745". Both are installed on different machines.

We had taken OS restart after clean shutdown of SCM and LC. Now when we are trying start LC using lc10 trx, it shows error:

-

Server: scmdev

Users: BASIS

Logical Command: DBMRFC

Parameter: exec_lcinit restart

Name and Server : LCD - scmdevl

DBMRFC Function : DBM_EXECUTE

Command : exec_lcinit restart

Error : DBM Error

Return Code : -24964

Error Message : ERR_EXECUTE: error in program execution#

1,can not generate temporary file name

-

The process x_server is also started. Only 1 log file is updated which is "dbm.prt" with following message:

-

Hello Chintan,

-> As SAP customer you have option to open the OSS ticket on this issue.

Did you already created the SAP ticket, where this problem was reported?

-> Did you check the OS log on the liveCache server?

-> Please update with additional information:

    • post the lcinit.log && x_server protocol

    • output of the following commands, server scmdevl:

xinstinfo LCD

uname -a

sdbregview -l

more /etc/opt/sdb

ps -efe | grep vserver

    • Check in xserver protocol the settings for TEMP/TMP variable & see if sdb user has permissions to write to this directory. < could be /tmp or /var/tmp >

Thank you and best regards, Natalia Khlopina
