Hi,

I have a scenario .. I will explain the same with an example..Suppose I am selling goods worth Rs 100 to a customer and want to charge VAT of 4% to the customer on 80% of the total value of goods sold to him, that is, VAT 4% to be charged on Rs 80. Kindly let me how can I configure the same.

Thanks & Regards,

Gaurav

Hi Gaurav,

It is possible.Ther is a concept of Alt Base value in Pricing Procedure Configuration wherin you can set the base value of your calculation. In your current case you need to create your own alt calculation type (usually a number between 500 to 999 that we can create in VOFM transaction) and then code for the 80% base.Once that is done then we need to calculate.

In the Formulae part you can make use of that base value to calculate a condition value. The formulae number would be again created in VOFM.Usually the customer name space is from 500 to 999.

Put these formulae and Alt base value in the condition type of your pricing configuration.
