Hi ,
What is a change ticket?
thanx..
Kabir
Kabir,
As mentioned above, Change ticket will have different meaning in implementation & support.
In implementation, Change ticket is called change request. If the ADD & UAT are signed off & business still wants to include some quick changes in the proj, it has to come through Change Request.
In support it means to change the existing logic to a different one.

Change Ticket in Support Environment will refer to some modification in Process or an enhancement to current process.
Similarly, in the case of implementation, once the Business Blue Print is freezed, and later there is any change in requirement or logic, it is captured as change request. Change Request may or may not be considered for Go-Live depending on Stage of the project or type of requirement.

Hi kabir,
as per my understanding u are asking for change ticket in support project. if this is right then following is the answer.
When ever any user gets problem in SAP system, he will issue one ticket by any of the third party software like Heat. This ticket is request ticket.
Now if after analysys consultants wants to change any thing in the system , they will create Change ticket with respect to the heat/request ticket.
Thanks,
Raja

Hi there,
After the project Go Live is over, if the business want to push for some last minute changes that are mandatory, they do that by change requests.
Change requests dont impact the SLA (service level aggrements).
