Hello Gurus,

for third party processing, A related purchase requisition item is created automatically for each third-

party item in the sales order. does related purchase requisition item mean the item in the schedule line ?

item TAS can't create PO automatically, so its derived CS also can't be used for third party processing, right ?

Hi

The Purchase Requisition is created based on the setting made in the schedule line used for third party sales process. The field in the Item Category controls the automatic creation of Purchase Order only (which happens only after automatic creation of Purchase Requisition) and not the Purchase Requisition.

Thanks,

Ravi

Hi,

Yes the standard Item category cant be used for 3rd party scenarios as we never create Purchase requsitions from SO in a standard process. So we either need to make use of the 3rd item category and schedule line (CS) as provided by the system or need to create a new one by copying them.

Hi Bo Zhang,

Standard Item Category TAS doesn't have "Create PO automatic" is not checked but ALES has "Create PO automatic" checked. Based on customers requirement you can use TAS or ALES as Third Party Item Category and CS as Schedule Line Category.
