mySAP ERP 2004 and ECC 5.0

What is the relationship between ECC 5.0 and mySAP ERP 2004. Is ECC 5.0 an integral component of mySAP ERP 2004 or is it an option component that has additional cost?

Hi Sudhir,

ECC is the core of mySAP ERP and is usually considered the minimum installation for mySAP ERP (included in mySAP ERP license). The document Eddy posted the link to provides some very good diagrams on explaining this relationship.

You will see that there are addition software components that can installed and used with the ECC.

Hi,

I would use the link http://service.sap.com/erp as the document that Eddie mentioned has been moved. You are required to have a "S id" to log onto the SAP Service Marketpalce. You typically can get them from your SAP system administrator.
