Hello all,
There is a requirement as below :
Pre-run : Cancel all line items and set the item status to Complete.
Mid-run : Cancel the unpublished/not passed deadline schedule lines and set the item status to Complete.
According to me, once we cancel item/schedule line, the status set is Cancelled(Logically deleted). How can we then set the status to be closed/complete.
The reason I am aksing this is, they do not want the line items/schedule lines with status cancelled and open. They want it with status cancelled and closed.
Thanks,
Salil

Hi Salil,
In SAP MAM module, whenever you can cancel a schedule line for a CBU/BBU , that entry wont flow to the technical system for dummy planning, or even for that matter to the standard transaction JH75 for manual publishing.
This itself ensures that the status is cancelled and completed.
When you design a schedule sheet report, now you can ask your users to run a report for schedule line status = 01; and this would list all schedule lines which have been cancelled for the cancellation reasons maintained as a master in the sales order screen.
Hope this answers your question.

If an item has more than one schedule line, and only few schedule lines are cancelled, how can we close the item?
If an item or schedule line is cancelled how do you still consider it to be open?
