Is Usage type DI installed or not?

Hi all,

Is it necessary to install the usage type DI for using the NWDI or not? How can I test, if the usage type is already installed or not?

I am asking, because there is a AS Java-system with Enterprise portal on customer side, where I created a development track, etc. but there is no one, who can tell, if the DI usage type was explicitely installed or not.

I only want to make sure, that we can use the stuff correctly, which is already installed there.

Hi

You can know whether DI usage is install on your EP server:-

1.) http://servername:5XX00/devinf, if you get page which has DTR, CBS and CMS links on giving the NWDI_ADM user or user with NWDI Admin access. Then DI is install as usage type.

2.) Another way is go to http://servername:5XX00/sap/monitoring/ComponentInfo, check whether DI_DTR, DI_CBS, DI_CMS are there, then DI usage type is install.

3.) If DI template is there in NWA to carry out post intallation steps, then DI usage type is install.
