Combination of different item category in one Order Type

Hi experts,

Would like to know is that possible one order by having combination of different type of line item category.

Such as order type = ZXXX

line 1 - item category = TAN

line 2 - item category = TANN

How to assign document pricing to document type? Is that possible?

hi,

definetly you can have more the one item category in a ordertype

this s done using item category determination.

document pricing proceedure is assigned to document type using tcode VOV8

one doc type can have only one doc pricing proc

Hi there,

Yes this combinationis very much possible & you will find that in real time production orders.

Item catg is determined by the item catg group from the material master. So in the same doc type you can find many item catg.

You assign the document pricing proc to the doc type but not to individual item catg.

So irrespective of the items in the order, it will have the the pricing proc that you have assigned.

Hello Yong Kok Wah,

The item category is determined based on the following factors:

1) Sales Doc type( OR, QT etc..)

2) Item Category Grp--from Material Master

3) Item Usage--from Material Master.

4) Higher Level Item--from Material Master.

And this is defined/assigned in SPRO>S&D>Sales>Sales Item>Assign Item Categories.

Your requirement is quiet possible, provided the line items line 1 and line 2 have different materials.

Yes, the Document Pricing Procedure is assigned to a document type in VOV8.

However, the pricing proecudre for a particular document is determined based on Sales AreaDoPP(as explained above)CuPP(Customer Pricing Procedure indicator--in customer master)

1.) u can use no of item category in one document

e.g.1. TAN for standard item

2. TANN FOR FREE GOOD

3. TAL for returnable packaging

4. DLN for packing

and so on

here u have to do item category determination by VOV4

WITH RESPECT TO THERE ITEM CATEGORY GROUP

E.G. 1. OR-NORMUSAGE(IF ANY)TAN--TANN

2. OR-LEIH----- -
