I'm not sure I''m in the right Forum but I can't find a Forum about SAProuter.
Within our company there is a discussion about the functionality about a SAP-Router.
Can someone give me answers to the remarks below?
A problem is that you easily can connect between systems on a SAP-router, where itu2019s all about, that on user-level will be decided, who can connect to an other system/customer, that such a user is authentic and the actions are logged.
--> Is that correct?
A more important issue is maintenance.
Finally it does not go for, or a SAP-router (as physical or logical entity, as process on a device, or how you would call it), but the access has to be regulated, or the supply and delete of rights has to be regulated and so on.
--> Is unauthorized use enclosed?
One of the issues is, that there are regular procedures for authorization of users and that there is a divorce of roles: a maintenance user can not give himself access.
--> Is this regulated in a SAP-router?
Because a SAP-SAP-connection by a firewall will be blind, there is to be needed a control-function.
--> Is this correct?
