Does a new client occupy database space, and how much space will it used?
another question, if I create a new client 777 in QAS, then I copyed PRD800 to QAS777, I want to know how much database space the new client777 used? how to caculate the space a client used?
thanks .
Yes MArk is right ,
You can perform the test client copy.
Even though it will consume some time, but it will give you the exact picture of client size. It inturn will help you avoid archive struck as well.
Because if it is a large client then you have to make sure log backup should be run more frequently.

Do a client copy test run - it will tell you the runtime and the size of the client.
