Production Server Upgrade ( 4.7 to ECC 6.0)

Hi,

We are in the process of upgrading from SAP 4.7 to ECC 6 in the

production server. At the outsetthe following broad phases to be

carried out.

1. Prepare

2. SAPUP I

3. SAPUP II

Can we keep some intervals between these phases and can the developementserver be released for users. Especially between SAPUP I & SAPUP II can

we have some time interval to plan our downtime (Specific to SAPUP II) ?

Please suggest .

I´m not sure what you mean with phases "SAPUP I" and "SAPUP II".

Check the upgrade guide, it has a detail graphics what you can do at which place, when users can work with the system and when not.
