How to configure alert for file to file scenario

Hi

I have done file to file sceario. When ever my file comes at receiver side I should send an alret to mail id. How to do this. Could anyone please explain complete steps

Hi,

My suggestion is use two mappings with same source or used multi mapping .

one for Receiver and another one for Mail Receiver.

In this you can able to send some condents which enables in the file.

Like PO number.

Alerts are not triggered for successful message transfer,if you need to send a notification for successful message,then configure a receiver mail adapter and specify that in receiver determination.

Alerts are only triggered in case of message failure and yes,you can use alerts without BPM.

Hi ,

In receiver Determination youmay add two Receivers 1 as file and another as Email.

In this also its very difficult to fix the priority but then you may need to go for BPM.

Another option is as follow

SAP Alert management , raise an Alert from payload in mapping and from there to designated recipient you can send it to the user , and the user mail should be configured in SU01.
