adding characteistic value field to sales order incompletion procedure

Hi gurus,

I am using configurable material in sales order & accordingly I have to maintain characteristic values for that material.

I want to add this characteristic value to sales order incompletion procedure. I have searched IMG-- SD-- Basic functions-- Log of Incomplete Items.

Please give your suggestions. Thanks in advance.

You don't do it that way with Characteristics. You create a rule (Object dependency or make it Required) which will result in a configuration "inconsistency" this in turn will not allow anything to happen until that inconsistency is corrected in configuration.
