Delivery Date in credit memo request cannot be changed after invoicing

Hi All,

When i create a Credit memo request and invoice it , going back to the request(order)

i cannot change the deliver date of the line item, even though i hav not delivered the line.

This does not happen with normal invoicing. Does anyone know why?

Dear Nehal

In Credit memo process there is no goods movement so no delivery takes place. Therefore there is no relevance for delivery date.

Hi ,

In the case of normal invoice, that contains the line items which has to be delivered, so that allows u to change the delivery date once order is been created.

In the credit memo order just u r adjusting the money to the customer, u r not going to deliver any thing, therefore u do not have the option of changing the delivery date.
