When user runs one report in foreground, he gets all the details. But when the same report he runs in background (with same input data), he doesn't get all the details. This happens intermittently. Has anyone faced this problem earlier? or if someone can let me know why does this happen and what is the solution.
Actually problem is not with variant or layout. Because when job runs it shows status as finished but if you check the spool it still shows status as waiting. If report generates 10 pages in foreground then it generates only 2 pages in background. I have given the no. of pages to be displayed through "settings' but still it doesn't display all the details.
Actually problem is something related to output device which we specify in background job but not sure what is the solution.
This shouldn't happen. But ensure you use the same layout when you run execute the report in both foreground and background and check if you've set any dynamic selections (when you say some details don't appear).
