Unable to Scan the barcode for printer HP LaserJet 4250 PCL 5

Hi,

Unable to scan the barcode which is printed on HP LaserJet 4250 PCL 5. I hvae used different barcodes for the same to test. I can able to print the barcode but the same cannot be scanned using Quickscan mechine. Any answers.

It depends on the Barcode Family. If the machine is not able to handle that family than, it will not able to scan it properly, irrespective of any printer.

Try changing the Barcode Family. Generally, machines can read C128 barcodes easily compared to C39 barcodes. Sometimes C39 barcodes generates additional characters.

Hi,

Check the reader and the format you are printing. You should print in the same code as of your reader.

Are you able to read some characters or not able to read any?

You need to format the characters for extended code 39. The specila characters cnnot be printed in code 39.
