Hi All,
Is there any chance to reinstall SDM (software deployment manager) ???
We have a situation here.
WAS JAVA Portal 7.0 has been installed on windows 2003 cluster environment.
Sometimes we are not able to deploy (EAR, SDA, SCA components) using SDM nor NWDS. Deployment applications hang with no error descriptions.
Doing some investigation, we found out that
sdmrepository.sdc points out to lots of files and folders located on cluster disks that are not always accessible.
I guess we can do manual sdmrepository.sdc editing to change non accessible disk drive to point to some local disk drive, side effects???
I did not find any document regarding SDM uninstall nor reinstall procedure.
Of course, we can do a fresh install, but this is a production scenario. No chance to do that.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Best regards.
Hi Claudio,

Why is it that you have a cluster installation where some disks are not always accessible? I think it would be better to solve this issue rather than reinstall SDM.
Best Regards,
Matt
