Cannot create on DRP box, which is a copy of prod

Hi,

We have a copied Production to create DRP and now we have problems editing in IR and ID.

We get messages like "You cannot create new objects since the system is not the original system of the software component version" when trying to create.

What could be wrong.

Double click on your software component version in IR,all the way in the bottom you will see a check box "Objects are orignial objects",select that checkbox and activate,after that you should be able to make changes.Also select the "Objects are modifiable" checkbox(if its not already checked)
