Hi Pappu,

First of all

1. Make your port setting in consol as outbound and remote key mapping "yes".

2. Key mapping property of the table, to which the data has to be imported, should be set to u201CYesu201D in console.

3. syndicate these records back to the respective remote systems. Go to Syndicator. Go to File -> New.

4. A pop up window for choosing your destination settings will open up. Choose the file type, remote system as Remote system (Created by you) and then u201COku201D.

5. Here, we have chosen the file type as flat. First of all we will create a syndication map for remote system

6. Now go to Item Mapping tab and map the field u201CRemote key value and make the changes according to your fields.

7. Syndicate the file and save it as Remote system(created by you) You can directly syndicate the file to a port from where it will directly go to your remote system(created by you).

Hope it helps.

Hi,

Follow this beautiful article on remote keys mapping in MDM syndicator

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/7051c376-f939-2b10-7da1-c4f8f9ee...

Remote Key:

It is a concept used In MDM to identify Data coming in from different multiple remote systems like R/3,ECC ,SRM etc and getting harmonised back to the target systems.

- For this you have to enable the Key mapping as Yes in the MDM console for the Rep

- Then when you import data from differnt systems using MDM import manager you will have to map the Remote key in the IM to the Primary Key in the Source

- This will make it able to identify which record has entered from which sytem

- In MDM Data manager->Rt cli->edit key mapping on the records will give its global and local id .after merging two or more duplictaes records from differnt sytems in to 1.

Port:

- Port is the entry point form where you import the data form the source sytem

- It is the File location where the source system places the input file in the ports ready folder and thsi file is then picked into MDm either automaticallu using Import Server or amnually using MDM Import manager

- Console->Ports->

- Every port is associated with a remote system

Client Clarification:

- If you menat REmote sytem by client configuration then

- Every source sytem from where you import data will act as a remote sytem in MDM

- This remotes sytem will ahve aport of entry and exist for data transfer to and from the source system.

- Remote system settings are done in MDM console

Hope It Helped,

Thanks & Regards

Hi,

What is the concept of remote key mapping in syndicator. Could you please give me clear idea regarding romote key ,port, client configuration.

Before coming to the syndicator, I would like to tell that you that you need to firstly follow these pre-requisites:

Enable key mapping property for the respective table in Console.

1. In console, Create a remote system with Inbound/outbound.

2. Create a port of type Outbound.

For further information,

In syndicator:

1. Go to New

2. Choose the proper Remote System

3. Map the fields properly to get the remote key.

You can find enough details in the below mentioned link on How to Use Remote Keys for Remembering Remote System Specific Formats of Data:

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/30843106-5539-2b10-75a9-da483911...

Hope it helps.
