Layout problems when deploying as Flex2

Former Member

Using Flex1 I had very few layout related problems. The layout and placement of form and table components were almost WYSIWYG. Now using Flex2 I seem to have lost control totally. At runtime components do not show up where I designed them to be.

I have tried multiple variants of settings for the "Fit contents" and the "Layout method" settings, but none of these seem to work as supposed.

I am on SPS 16

Any tips?

Henning

Hi Henning,

I would suggest applying our latest HF for SP16. You can download it from [here|https://sapmats-de.sap-ag.de/download/download.cgi?id=MWHUA4N7RVA20W2CKCA85LWS3C6BVB5T8DM0B36WEHSHX80KAG]

No problems Henning

Unfortunately, we don't issue documentation for HFs since it's not an official release. I can only say that it fixes:

1. Layout issues.

2. Unnecessary URL encoding of data sent to backend systems is removed.

3. Support for data types other than the primitive ones.

4. BI Function names with UTF-8 characters are supported again.

And that did the trick! Hotfix in, model recompiled, runtime layout perfect!

Thanks again for answering this quickly.

Hi Jarod,

Yes you can. There is no problem from VC perspective to deploy those SCAs, since they change only VC code.
