When we starting IR and ID, it will look for java web start platform? why?
Dear Praveen,
As IR and ID are works under Java Runtime ( Java Stack)
To start these applications it will take help of Java Runtime Environment installed on your server this invokes Java WebStart.
But these application IDs for IR and ID are picked up from Exchange Profile.
Best Regards
Praveen

This is used to avoid any java application installation on individual machine. In absence of java web start, if from any machine u want to access IR or ID, then some installation would have been required to perform. This could be a tedious task.
