Guys,

As we know Netweaver supports following features.if i will do examples of each features is this enough for fundaments.

Features

Exchange Infrastructure enables you to do the following:

· Develop cross-system applications that exchange a multitude of system messages using the runtime infrastructure and synchronous or asynchronous communication. Develop new platform-independent interfaces or connect existing interfaces to the runtime using adapters.

· Produce a bird’s eye view of the collaborative processes by using business scenarios and derive the interfaces and mappings required from them.

· Adjust message values and structures for the receiver using mappings.

· Centrally maintain the message flow between logical systems in the system landscape using logical routing.

· Connect the logical receiver to a technical system using end points; this system can be exchanged easier using this abstraction level (technical routing).

· Control system access using logon data.

· Describe your system landscape as the foundation for the description of your collaborative processes by using the System Landscape Directory.

Hi Vijay,

Welcome to NetWeaver! Well, the features that you have mentioned are very very "broad" features! You cant exactly get one example which covers the entire feature appropriately..its more of a mix n match scenario. I'd suggest you understand what exactly netweaver is used for...its architecture..the various tools used under it and based on what you are interested in and what your background is(i.e. ABAP/JAVA,etc), you can chose one particular tool to study in depth.

For starters, you can probably go through the material and information sdn provides to get a feel of what netweaver is. I'l also suggest the book: "NetWeaver for Dummies"-by By Dan Woods, Jeffrey Word. It gives you the basic idea behind netweaver-which I'm sure will be helpful.

All the best Vijay and hope you enjoy NetWeaver!:)

Do post if you have any further queries.

and..not to forget...dont forget to reward points;)

Cheers
