Error in SAINT UPDATE with R3trans v167

Hi,

We're upgrading SAP_APPL form V600 to V603, and in the IMPORT_PROPER phase we got a TP_STEP_FAILURE that as we checked after it comes form an error with the version of the R3Trans as is reflected in note 1232017 IBM i: R3trans fails with sql error -904 during import

The problem is that the queue has not stopped it seems to be working as nothing has happend the R3Trans and Tp are working and in the /trans/tmp you got the SAPI-603DFINSAPAPPL.<SID> growing and growing with the sql error -904

So it seems to be stopped but the saint shows that is working

If you go to the saint --> goto --> status --> installation queue you get the following message

The OCS queue is currectly being imported.

The import process is in phase IMPORT_PROPER.

But if you go to check the packages of the queue one by one saint --> goto --> status --> single package

--> SAPK-60301INP3A (for example) you get the following message

The installation was stopped, since an error occurred during the phase IMPORT_PROPER, which the Add-On Installation Tool is unable toresolve without your input.

After you have corrected the cause of the error, continue with the import by choosing Continue in the queue display.

The following details help you to analyze the problem:

- Error in phase: IMPORT_PROPER

- Reason for error: TP_STEP_FAILURE

- Return code: 0008

- Error message: OCS Package ALL, tp step "6", return code 0008

So the queue has stopped but the queue hasn't noticed it, so anybody knows how to stop the saint queue in a safe mode in order we could upgrade the r3trans and tp tools

Thank you in advance

At the end we stopped the r3trans and tp manually via OS. Stopped SAP instance upgraded R3Trans and TP, startet again and we continued the import without major problems
