Hi Daniel,

May be the application has reached timed-out.just re-run the application or refresh the browser. Still it doesn't work then log-out and log-in to the portal. then open the application.

Hi Daniel,

If you are running this application from NWDS, right click on the application and choose Run.

If you are running this application from NW Portal, left side we have navigation panel, just click on the application name. If still it does not work log out from the Portal and log in again.

Still it has the problem then try to deploy the application and test.

Before all this check whether the server is running or not with your basis team.

Siva

Hey,

This is due to the expiration time. Just go to the following location and change it .

You can set the expiration time in applicatin properties. Go to Web Dynpro Project - > Applications - > Your Application - > Application Properties - > New - > sap.expirationTime.

Thanks

Hi Suresh,

If the WebDynpro Application is expired through the property sap.expirationTime. Then is it possible to trigger/navigate to any default custom web page., rather than the 400 session time out page.

Can you please provide me the steps how to do it in CE 7.10

Thanks, Siraj

Hi Siraji,

you can make a try to use custom error pages

(Caveat factor: only for HTTP responses. The errors coming from the WD framework cannot be customized):

Hi,

Webdynpro Application can expire because of these 2 reasons :-

-- If some one is deploying something on that server where the WD application is running.

-- All webdynpro applications has default expiration time which is of 30 minutes. It can be changed through WD Application properties or from Visual Admin

Hi,

try to restart application from Visaul Admin. And i think you can set expiration time of application from the Visual Admin also.

You can done this from Application level also, right click the application name->edit->application property->pre define->browse->expiration time->

But check from the Visaul Admin you application is in stop status or not. The check box will have crossed in red color if application is stopped.

Hope this may help you.

Hi,

This problem occurs because of time expiration.

You can set the expiration time in applicatin properties. Go to Web Dynpro Project - > Applications - > Your Application - > Application Properties - > New - > sap.expirationTime.

Hope it solves your problem

Thanks
