SAP XI certification

Hello All,

I am planning to take the SAP-XI certification. I have some questions which i need good suggestions of yours.

1) I want to take the Certification with out sponsorship from my company i.e. my company is non away related to this certification. Is that possible?

2) If possible how much that will cost me? I had listen some where it is 30K is that true?

3) I had listen else that only 50% of the people will clear the XI certification exam. How far it is true?

4) Is that ok to learn XI from XI help doc's on SDN and take the exam?
