Syndicator - IDs

Hello MDM gurus,

I have a question regarding MDM Syndicator.

In the flat lookut table, the number schould be automatically genetated during export (Syndicator)

Is there a possibility ti generate such a number in Syndicator?

This number habe to identify (unique) the data

The changes inthe Data model are not possible.

Example:

Auto

Auto A 1

Auto B 2

Auto C 3

The number (1-3) schould be automatically generated during Export.

Hi Zaur,

Looks like the data model is incorrect as lookups are to be used to store a set of legal values which will be used in every incoming main tabel records.

A lookup is to be prepopulated prior to importing not at teh time of main atble importinga nd not definitely at the time of syndicating.

The only dynamic fields that can be added in the syndiactor is through the custom items but that to will be the repository fields only or else date and time fields which are not your requirement.

So i feel its difficult to take care of this requirement.

Lets wait for futher replies if any one can through some light in a different angle to this prblem.

MDM syndicator is used to just syndicate the data present in MDM. As per my knowledge there is no way to do it if you want ot only do it through syndicator.

However, this can be done using the Assignments in Data Manager only if you add a field in the Data Model.

You can create a Workflow in Data manager and set up the process.

You can put an assigment and assign any value to the field based on that Logic.

It is very difficult to achieve this without any changes to the data model.
