I am new to Java Mapping.....starting for the first time. I need some good documents on the same to start.

Search in WIKI section of SDN, there are some good examples on Java mapping as well.
How to search:
Wiki
> XI> at the bottom of the page click child links
then you get a list of links select Java Mapping.
