Hi,

You can look for the error as Mudari and Ashok has guided. If no help then try this>stop you SAP MMC>go to services-->restart all your Database(oracle/SQL..etc) services and then try restarting the SAP MMC.

Hope this will work.

Ashutosh

Hi Avelino,

From the dump it seems that the system was made down manually.

Is your sap is completely down or some workprocess.

You check below things

1) SAPOSCOL is running

2) Database is running

Also paste the trace dev_w0 from directory usr\sap\<sid>\instance\work.

This trace file will contain the error information.

Ashok

hi avelino,

seems that dispatcher is not reaching the message server.

check ur network settings and ping to the server.

also paste the dev_msg and dev_disp traces file from work directory.

in the dump it was mentioned like connection refused.

may be the network problem. just check ur network settings.

also refer note :: 932228 .

Hi

Check the message server is running or not.

or

if the disp+work is also not running your server will not start.

check the logs dev_w0 .

Hi,

Dont jump to a conclusion that this is a n/w problem. As you said your dispatcher is not starting so do once as I had guided in my earlier post. Also for logs check dev_wo and dev_disp files in \usr\sap\sid\DVEBMGSxx\work as bhasker has said.

After analyzing everything and also restarting the database services nothing work then only go and co-ordinate with your n/w team.

Ashutosh
