hi gurus ,
i m planning to configure service desk in our solution manager system .
our solution manager version is ,
ST 400 SP 10 (SAPKITL420)
but the sap note 949292 says that we need to have atleast sp 12 and it is providing with implementaions procedures from SP 12 only .
without upgrading can i go ahead and configure service desk
do u know any notes which gives info based on SP 10
gurus help me

Yes, you can go ahead. Just follown the instructions given in each step you find in IMG for this scenario ( of course, you will need to fulfill the basic steps first ).
I have already configured this scenario on top of a 4.0 SP9.

hi valdecir ,
when i execute "create users for configuration " under basic settings of solution manager in spro ,
in the wizard everything is red icon .
does that mean so far they have not done any basic settings in solution manager ?
i m very new to this org , i dont how to find ...
help me out

More precisely.
ST-SUP was the Support Desk component prior Solution Manager 7.0 (ST 400). I do not remember anymore, when ST-SUP was replaced by ST.
ST-SER is the Service Content (to process, SAP EarlyWatch Alert Check, SAP EarlyWatch Health Check, ....), it has nothing to do with Support Desk.
