Discrepancy between table VBRK and structure S508

Hello,

For one particular sales organization, there is a discrepancy between table VBRK (Billing: Header Data) and structure S508 (Billing doc struc) for the current month. Only one billing document is being shown in S508 against 20-25 billing documents in VBRK. The same billing documents should be visible in both VBRK and S508. Up until last month both were showing the same; the issue is for this month (08.2008). Any idea why this might be happening and how to correct it? Help is appreciated.

Hello,

this can occur due to many reasons.

Not in every cases all billing documents which you have created are in the infostructure.

Only this documents will be in the infostructure, which are relevant for the updating of this infostructure.

If a document is not relevant for the updating of an infostructure, then you can't find the document in the infostructure.

Often the customers forget this point.

Please check in transaction MCVV why the infostructure is not updated.

Here you can see, if the document is relevant for the updating of the infostructure.

If the update group on header or on item BLANK or different from the updategroup of you infostructure, the the document will be not updated in your infostructure.

An other reason can be an inconsistency of the control tabels TMC2*.

Reactivation of the update rules in MC25 did the trick.
