Dear All,

While creating sales order (OR) , i get the following error after entering material code "Template material processing is deactivated".Kindly help to solve this.

I would suggest you to do further analysis by clicking on the error msg to see detailed description, and if its a pop-up by clicking on the question mark.. plz paste the detailed description to get further help.. else, take help of a tech consultant.

Message no. CB01412

Diagnosis

You attempted to enter a material in an SD document that is set as a

template or one-time material. An error occurred that can have the

following causes:

o Template and one-time material processing is not activated

o No determination routine is specified for the SD documents for the

permitted combinations

o The combination of sales organization, document category, and

document type or delivery type for the SD document is not permitted

System response

The system prevents you editing the document any further.

Procedure

o Activate template and one-time material processing in the IMG

activity Activate Dangerous Goods Checks.

o Edit the determination routines in the IMG activity Specify

Determination Routines for Sales and Shipping Documents.

o Edit the IMG activities Specify Permitted Combinations for Sales

Documents and Specify Permitted Combinations for Shipping Documents.

Better check out in Material Type Control Data--OMS2..then see the control data of material type which u entered in so

Check out whether u checked the quantity and Value updates ..

we use the material type FERT.

Standard process wont give this error and I believe some user exit is applied. With the help of ABAPer, please debug the error and arrive at a solution.
