Webdynpro View problem. Layout tab says 'The page cannot be displayed'

Hello,

In SE80, When I try to display a view, The LAYOUT tab gives me an error saying 'The page cannot be displayed'.

Is there anyone who had this kind of problem ?

I'd appreciate if someone can help me resolve this.

I needed to enter ip address as well as host name into Windows host file.

It's working now.

I am also facing the same problem.

I entered ip address and host name. Still page cannot be displayed error is coming in view layout.

Navigate to the following file in windows.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

and at the end of the file, put the ip address of your server . Save this file and then re-login to the SAP system. It should work.

goto the following path and paste your ip then only it works.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Hi,

I hope your referring to WD 4 ABAP. Do check if you have an entry of the ECC server in your hosts file.
