Sticky Thread?

Hi

I happened to come across one or two posts that had this little green icon by its side. Moving my mouse over it, I saw the word "Sticky Thread". Just out of curiosity, what is this thing?

Sticky Threads are the one which will always stay as the first thread of the forum. this is commonly used in forums to inform users about forum rules, etc.

For a second it did not occur to me that a moderator CAN actually award points if he wanted to.

Well I was just wondering how nice it would have been if you were to pitch in to reward points to every good answer posted here in the forums..
