Hi,

I have a scenario, the LNG comes through the marine to the terminal and then get converted to Natural Gas and finally delivered to customer through pipeline.

This is a TSW scenario.

If somebody coul let me know.

Thanks

Dear Ajay,

if you need to integrate a realistic LNG quantity conversion into TSW processes, like e.g. ticketing, you need to define conversion logic within the SAP QCI. Bascically you have two choices:

a) Programm your customer specific LNG conversion using the SAP QCI BAdIs

b) You can go to http://www.quantityware.com , and inquire on the SAP certified BCG product, which contains a full blown LNG solution.

Kind regards,

Markus

Hi,

The volume of the LNG is 1/600 that of the gas in its vapor state.

Please see the below sources of the above conversion.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liquefied_natural_gas

Hope this answers your query.

Hi Sundar,

Thanks for your response. My question is that if we convert the LNG to natural gas what would be the difference in volume.

The description you have given is a reason why the Nautral gas is converted to LNG....so as to cut down the transportation cost in pipeline.

Request you to let me know the conversion factor for converting LNG to Natural gas.

Thanks

Ajay
