Visual Composer on EP

Hi All,

Is it necessary to have Enterprise Portal for Visual Composer or SAP Netweaver itself will do it.Can you please confirm wat all do we really need to go ahead with Visual Composer application.

Yes, you need the Portal. VC is part of the Portal. SAP NetWeaver, as far as I know (I am not a sales person), includes the Portal.

The design time for the VC runs in the Portal and also the runtime. The Portal provides infrastructure like auhtorizations, transport mechanisms, etc.

Hi there,

VC 6.0 produces iViews that run on both SAP

Enterprise Portal 6.0 SP2 (Patch 4 and above) as

well as SAP NetWeaver ’04 SP Stack 05 and above

The current downloadable version is VC 6.0 Patch 6.0.
