Unable to upload file length greater that 132

Dear Gurus,

We have a number of documents on our intranet. I am tying to link them in SAP so that they open with the default application. I can open the documents if the file length of FLTYPE (Original) is within 132. If it is greater that 132 (eg if the file path is http://10.32.21.32/documents/Mechanical...........), the file path gets cut at 132.

I am using doc type DRW.

The length of FLTYPE in the table is 255. Can somebody suggest how the full length can be utilized.

Regards

Hi Narendra,

regarding the file path issue maybe note 797897 could be useful for you. It contains information about the different storage types and its maximum file length.

As I could see from your sample you are trying to check in an original with an URL filepath. Please note that such URLs need not to be checked in again because they are already stored on another server. If you check in this original again the file path will be corrupted.

For further information regarding originals with an URL filepath please see the WIKI page under

Dear Christoph,

The note 797897 is a consulting note.

Regarding the check in, you are right. We are only giving the file path in the "Original" field and not checking in the document.

As posted earlier, I am able to open the document if the file path is less than 132.
